About Blog-
increasing number of Aikido friends that I have gained making Aikido equipment, together with all other equipment, inspired me to start this blog where you will be able to find only equipment for Aikido, normally if you recognize the differences and looking for quality and perfection.
Workshop PAART not interfere in the politics of different styles of Aikido, my only goal is that everyone finds what he is searching for.

About Me -
my name is Petar  Antunović, I was born in small town Pakrac, Croatia,1972.
I work with wood from an early age, I was seven or eight years old when I received a gift from my grandfather, my first pocket knife, since then we can say that officially begins this my "story". Since I was born in a family of craftsman, grandfather, he made a wooden horse-drawn carts, a father, a blacksmith and locksmith, it is logical was, with so many tools around, that I myself become a craftsman.
I am a carpenter, but the pursuit a martial arts somehow focused all my knowledge in this direction, so that today I can say that the wooden Buki is "My Way," my Do.
Because I make wooden weapons since 1986.
when beginning my interest in martial arts
before that I also worked wooden weapons, but that I had something to play with

About  PAART-
Most people who had a chance to practice with wooden equipment which I make, has been called my work an art, so idea was born to, I give my  workshop name PAART, Petar Antunovic-Art.

Therefore PAART workshop is a place where you can purchase unique, high quality wooden and equipment, with a little artistic touch. All this may serve as improvement of your Aikido, normally, if you just looking for such.
About  Wood -
All wood from domestic species, has been cut in private forests owned by my family
also the whole process from felling trees, sawing, drying, under my control.
To create a bokken I use wood with natural curvature, while making  Jo stick, needed the wood with a completely straight structure, and the wood must be "appease", otherwise they happen to get the curvature, it can sometimes be repaired but must be a very good knowledge of wood.
Making tanto allow greater liberty, it is a small piece of wood so that the quality does play a big role, and can make a real work of art using the natural structure, the grain of the wood, combining colors.
I am a carpenter by profession, but for years collecting old knowledge of woodworking, and all this knowledge about use in making.
Using only quality parts of the tree is also important to the life of Buki, which those who make  the equipment  from the wood in wood centers can not offer.

About Buki
If we know that each person is unique, then it is natural that every Aikido practitioner wants to get a tool adapted his needs and feelings.
Therefore, the personal approach to every practitioner, is what you'll definitely get in my workshop.
Each tree is also different, has its own characteristics, there are species that are nice, but maybe not good for Buki with a lot of contact,
the reason why sometimes you need a few bokken.
